Dermal Fillers

As we age, collagen (which maintains skin firmness) gradually disappears and our skin loses moisture. Dermal fillers can take years off of your appearance by restoring volume and fullness. Dermal fillers are made of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the body. The hyaluronic acid within fillers can be used to diminish facial lines as well as lift and shape cheeks, jawlines and lips. The most common dermal fillers we use at Evangelisti are the Juvederm and Restylane family of products.

Neuromodulators

Botox and Dysport are FDA-approved products that relax the muscles underneath the skin in order to help soften the lines between your brows, forehead, and the crow’s feet around the eyes. The procedure is quick and comfortable. You will see results as soon as three days later, but full results happen at 7-10 days. Botox and Dysport last up to 3-4 months.

Advanced Treatments

• Kybella is used in adults to improve the appearance and profile of moderate to severe fat tissue below the chin (submental fat). Also known as the “double chin”.  This can add years in appearance.  Despite diet and exercise, submental fat often is unresponsive.  When caused by genetics the fat stays under the chin even with weight loss.  Kybella is an FDA approved deoxycholic acid, a naturally occurring molecule used by the body to help break down and absorb unwanted fat cells.  When injected into the prominent fatty tissue under the chin, Kybella will slowly dissolve targeted fat cells.  As the fatty tissue is broken down the body slowly anAdd safely reabsorbs the cells.  The skin will become smooth and taut.  Resulting in elimination of fat (double chin), a smooth contoured look.
• Sculptra aesthetic is an FDA approved synthetic material called poly-L-lactic acid, or PLLA. This is a biocompatible, biodegradable substance that is gradually and naturally absorbed by the body and commonly found in dissolvable stitches.  Sculptra’s PLLA stimulates the body’s natural collagen production.  Once injected Sculptra begins to add volume to the hollow areas of the face.  Full results of Sculptra develop over a course of treatments specifically tailored to patient’s needs.  Sculptra is effective treatment for areas of face including; temples, cheeks, jaw line.
• Microneedling is a series of needling treatments using Rejuvapen™ to penetrate skin with addition of hyaluronic acid and growth factors. Stimulates production of elastin and collagen, overall skin tone and texture.
